One more VERY IMPORTANT TOPIC

Some of us super wonderful ladies have brought up the very real fact that a lot of our kids (those Issac's age and under), have not had a ton of interaction together. So we tossed out the idea of some scheduled games or ice-breakers just to get the younger generation acclimated to each other, and simply to help them learn each others names. This is a FAMILY reunion, and we desperately want for all of us to spend time together and get to know each other so much better. But we also want to avoid 'over-scheduling' the weekend and wearing everyone out.

So what's the balance? How do we spend time together and get to know each other in all the age groups, and still be sure to allow for free time?

And not just the kids. As adults I know we can tend to turn the TV on, or find solace in the electronic world. I will speak for myself, as a Law lady, there is very much the tendency to 'zone-out' in front of the TV and get lost in an attempt to rest or escape for the chaos of it all! Any suggestions?

Do we want to aim for an Electronic Free weekend?

Set certain times only for TV, Gameboys, etc?

As parents you will have to determine what's good for your kids...we'd love some helpful ideas or thoughts!! Send them our way!!

Thanks.

And in conclusion on the T-shirts....

OK. T-shirts are being ordered tonight and we have most everyone's sizes. If not we'll do some 'guesstimating' as Kiely called it! :)

Cost of the Reunion T-shirts is $12.00 each. When we get to Baltimore we can simply give Paul and Kiely checks to cover the shirts and the 'adult night out' at the same time. I think with both things we'll owe them around $27.00/adult, and $12.00/kid.

It has been expressed to me with GREAT love and generosity that if these cost or expenses are too much for anyone then donations are much appreciated. Whatever you can afford to give is helpful. And I know other family members have expressed the desire to help financially. We are ALL at different places with our lives, and for sure with our finances. We do NOT want $ to play any role in hurting or hindering the weekend together. Do what you can. Give what you can. And if you can give extra or feel led to do so...then do so. And that's all we'll say on that topic! :)

We did inquire about 'Baby T-shirts' but the smallest size the company makes is a 2-T.
Sorry Howellings!! :(

T - Shirts

A few of you guys have inquired about the T-shirt idea. I talked to Daniel briefly about trying to come up with a design and maybe talking to Kiely or Aunt Margaret about the purchase process. I talked to the master artist...the rest is up to HIM!! Sorry guys, I don't think I can take on another project at present! But you guys run with it and feel free to send me details (price, size needs, etc) and I can post it on here! Thanks.
